Shakira traveled to Uruguay to spend some time in the beautiful José Ignacio to find inspiration for her new album.
Years ago, when she was preparing Laundry Service she was staying almost in the same place, just some kilometres away in La Barra.
Shakira gave a little interview to Uruguayan newspaper El Pais.
She said that she hopes to find the musas of Juana de Ibarbourou, her favorite poetess. She plans to stay in Uruguay for almost a month accompanied by her brother and some of her musicians. And also one of her little maltese dogs.
Shakira said that the album is still in very beginning, it has no name yet and it's still like a sheet of white paper where she just has started to draw the first images.
Shakira also told to the El Pais newspaper, that all the stories about her wedding are made up by journalists. She also reminded them about her other grand new project - building of the new school in Barranquilla.
She also talked about her studies of history - every night before going to sleep she reads a chapter from the history book.
